Unit 1: Kinematics

Goals:
1. Reason about motion using definitions and 5 kinematic equations.
2. Make and interpret graphs of displacement, velocity and acceleration.
3. Distinguish between vectors and scalars.
4. Know the acceleration of gravity on earth and how to use it in solving problems.
5. Apply the independence of perpendicular vectors to solve problems in two dimensions.
